From April 8th to 11th, the European International Non woven Exhibition (INDEX14) was held at the Palexpo International Convention and Exhibition Center in Geneva, Switzerland. Xu Yingxin, Assistant to the President of the China Textile Industry Federation and Executive Vice President of the Textile Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and Li Lingshen, President of the China Industrial Textile Industry Association, led 41 enterprises and more than 100 representatives from the Chinese exhibition group to participate in the exhibition, becoming the largest exhibition group in Asia at this year's exhibition.
It is reported that the exhibition is held every three years and is one of the largest professional exhibitions on non-woven fabrics in the world. The exhibition covers disposable hygiene products, wiping cloth products, filter materials, household products, non-woven fabric rolls and related equipment for agriculture, construction, protection, transportation, fiber raw materials, composite materials, bonding technology, chemicals, testing instruments, etc. This exhibition attracted 586 enterprises from 41 countries and regions to participate, with an exhibition area of 22000 square meters. It is an advantageous platform for domestic non-woven fabric industry, especially medical and health textiles and specialized raw materials and equipment enterprises to expand overseas markets, understand new products, technologies, and future development trends. Over 12500 visitors from over 100 countries and regions registered for the 3-day exhibition.
Excellent enterprises such as Nanhai Wendefu, Zhejiang Jinsanfa, Dalian Ruiguang, Meiya non-woven fabric, Hangzhou Nuobang, Donglun Technology, Wenzhou Changlong, Jiangsu Yingyang, and China Textile Science and Technology Co., Ltd. have carefully arranged booths in the Chinese exhibition group, showcasing the technical level of China's non-woven fabric industry from different perspectives.
During this period, Xu Yingxin, Li Lingshen and their delegation also exchanged ideas with the President of the European Non woven Fabric Association, Pierre Wiertz, and other high-level officials on the operational mechanism, industry services, and industry status of their respective associations. They also reached a consensus on information sharing, exhibition support, and jointly promoting the advancement of China Europe's non-woven fabric technology and bilateral trade. At the exhibition, Xu Yingxin and Li Lingshen had talks with Dave Rousse, Chairman of the American Non woven Fabric Association (INDA), and Huang Zuji, Executive Director. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on international standard formulation and revision, international training, exhibition cooperation, and reached cooperation intentions. The two sides will continue to promote exchanges and cooperation between enterprises between the two countries.
